I, the undersigned, declare having read and fully understood the  Guide for the correct use of contact lenses and the warnings, precautions and risks associated with their use as described above.
For any doubts, consultation and, if necessary, examination of contact lenses, the consumer can contact one of our specialists by filling in the appropriate contact form.


By purchasing products on Amevista.com, I expressly declare that:

- I am over 18,

- the product ordered corresponds to my eye doctor’s prescription,

- I have consulted my eye specialist beforehand with regard to the suitability and compatibility of the product purchased,

- I relieve Amevista srl of all liability connected with the purchase of a non suitable product,

- I have underwent regular check-ups as scheduled by my oculist and optometrist, each for their respective fields and competences. 

All products on sale on www.amevista.com are compliant with EEC regulation, the contact lenses are compliant with the provisions and fundamental safety requirements imposed on the manufacturer set out by Directives 93/42/EEC, 90/385/EEC and 98/79/EEC on medical devices, thus ensuring that the products are original.

These general terms and conditions apply to all purchases made on www.amevista.com  By confirming the order, the purchaser declares to agree with, and expressly accept, these general terms and conditions. 


The prices of the items published on our virtual store include VAT. Shipping costs are given in the specific section. To view the most accurate delivery prices, select your delivery destination on our website. 


Import duties are not applicable if you’re ordering from a EU country.

PSD2 is a European regulation that makes online payments more secure. When you place an order online using a card payment, your bank may ask you to confirm your identity through 3D Secure authentication.

What are the payment steps when I place an order?

When you place an order within Europe, you may be directed to a 3D Secure authentication by your bank. There are many ways to authenticate online payments and you could be asked to confirm your identity through SMS, email, or TouchID. Once your payment is authenticated, the order will be placed and you’ll return to the AMEVISTA order confirmation page. As soon as your order has been confirmed, you’ll receive an email.

How will my bank confirm my identity?

Get in contact with your bank to understand their 3D Secure authentication process. Make sure they have the correct contact details for you just in case they use SMS or email for authentication.

If I'm unable to place an order, what should I do?

Have you changed your mind? No problem, the customer has the right to withdraw from any distance selling contract within 30 days of the delivery date.

The products must be returned to the following address AMEVISTA Via Flaminia, 844, 00191 Rome, Italy, within 5 days of the communication relating to the return.


In case of replacement or return of the product, the customer will be given a period of 30 days from the date of delivery and must notify us by filling in the appropriate support form among our contacts, informing us of the reason why they wish to return the product.

Return costs shall be paid by the customer and the package must be traceable (with tracking code). 

The integrity of the purchased products returned unused, with their original labels and in their original boxes is an essential condition for exercising the right of withdrawal or cancellation. When returning sunglasses or prescription glasses, any seal of quality and integrity must still be applied to the glasses.

In the case of multiple orders (an order with at least two pairs of glasses), each individual item returned to Amevista will have to be shipped back to you at your expense, separately from the others, each with its own shipping tracking. If the products are returned in a single box or in different boxes but with a single shipment (multi-box), you will be charged £10 for each individual item returned, directly from the payment method used during the purchase.

Customized products and frames purchased in combination with prescription lenses cannot be refunded.

Amevista uses a special transparent anti-theft envelope, if, for any reason, it shows clear signs of tampering or attempted theft, customers are requested to refuse the delivery. 
We cannot accept any claim of deliveries accepted with tampered transparent envelopes.

If the anti-theft envelope is closed and intact, the Customer has 5 days, from the delivery date indicated on the courier's website, to notify us of any damage, otherwise the claim cannot not be accepted.

We remind you to check if the goods conform to your expectations before THROWING AWAY or DAMAGING any part of the packaging, otherwise we will no longer be able to accept any return.

Pursuant to article 55, paragraph 2, letter c), of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal (pursuant to Legislative Decree 206/2005), cancellation or return is excluded in the case of orders for customized products . 
Until proof of delivery at our warehouse, the shipment is under the full responsibility of the customer. Amevista is not liable for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured shipping.

Canceling an order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations Depending on where you live, you may choose to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) 2013 Regulations (CCRs).
If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify us within 30 days of the order arrival date by following the instructions above.

We will initiate the refund procedure for the price of the product for which the right of withdrawal has been exercised within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods in our warehouses, provided that the date of receipt falls within the times indicated above.


If you have received a defective, damaged or item that does not correspond to the model ordered, please contact customer service as soon as possible and in any case no later than 5 days from receipt of the order.
In the event of a replacement, we will proceed as soon as possible to collect the faulty/incorrect goods and send the replacement item. In this case the collection will be at our expense; the gratuity of the same will not however be guaranteed if you opt for the sole return of the goods.

After you’ve placed an order, we will email you with all the details. Once your order is sent, you’ll receive an email with the tracking number from the courier. Please check your spam folder in your email.
We always aim to deliver your package within the time specified, but sometimes there may be delays due to customs clearance or failed payments. 

ALL our items are guaranteed authentic.

Amevista shall accept no liability for damage to health associated with the use of contact lenses caused by inefficient and poor maintenance or by the incorrect use of lens cleaning products.

The customer undertakes to order only contact lenses previously recommended by a specialist (physician oculist–optician optometrist) and which have already been worn without any problems of tolerability. Any damage caused by improper adaptation of the lenses may not be eligible for compensation. We strongly advise Customers to undergo regular eye check-ups with an eye doctor and optometric examinations at an optical center specialized in contact lenses.

Boxes purchased without a prescription, open and used may not be refunded. Amevista shall not be liable for any manufacturing defects, for which the manufacturer shall be exclusively accountable. Prescription glasses and sunglasses may be returned within the terms established by the law or replaced only if the warranty seal has not been removed by the customer.

How do I apply a promo code?

All you need to do is add your eligible items to your shopping bag. Depending on the promo code, it will either be automatically applied, or you may have to manually enter it at checkout. Remember promotions can’t be cumulated.


I, the undersigned, being aware of the legal liability for false and misleading statements, declare that I have made my first purchase of contact lenses at an optician's shop under the direct supervision of an optician's auxiliary practitioner and that the type of lenses for which I am now making a purchase is exactly the same as the type of lenses I purchased for my first purchase.
