No, an audiogram or prescription is not required. Nuance Audio Glasses are available over the counter, with preset configurations that you can customise to meet your hearing support needs.
Nuance Audio Glasses are not designed to treat tinnitus. However, the use of hearing devices can reduce the perceived burden of tinnitus through sound masking. In this case, you may perceive your tinnitus less while using the glasses thanks to the amplification of surrounding external sounds.
Yes, the mobile app is required only for audio calibration and firmware updates. It works as a digital remote, allowing access to the glasses’ advanced features for a fully personalised and optimised experience.
No, the glasses can be used as a standalone device. However, for an optimal experience and access to all advanced features, it is advisable to have your mobile device with you and keep it connected to the app.
At full original capacity, a complete charge provides approximately 8 hours of continuous use under average conditions. With one full charge per day:
